The Fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth. The Fund may invest in shares of European companies, including ordinary shares and preferred shares. A preferred share typically pays dividends at a specified rate and has preference over ordinary shares in dividends and the liquidation of assets. The Fund may also invest in bonds convertible into shares. The Fund may invest no more than 10% of its assets in emerging market countries. At times, the Fund may hold cash and cash-like instruments. The Fund may invest up to 10% of its assets in other funds, of which up to 5% of its assets may be invested in funds investing in equity markets globally.
