Impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol (pictured) will request an investigation into the head of the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO), Yoon's lawyer Yun Gap-geun said on Sunday. The CIO is heading an investigation into Yoon's brief declaration of martial law in December, which resulted in his impeachment by the South Korean parliament. The CIO also attempted to arrest Yoon earlier this week.

Yun said a complaint will be filed against around 150 law enforcement officials. His legal team is looking into "charges of obstruction of justice, illegal entry into buildings and violations of military facility protection laws," he said, according to the Yonhap news agency.
