South Korean Navy carries out military exercise

South Korea's Navy announced on Sunday that it completed its first round of drills in 2025, according to the Yonhap news agency. The military exercises were carried out on Friday in all the seas surrounding the country's coast.

The Navy said the drills included nine naval vessels and two aircraft from South Korea's three fleets, performing anti-submarine exercises, live-fire anti-ship drills and tactical maneuver training. Chief of Staff Yang Young-mo said the Navy must retain a "staunch readiness posture through live environment training."
