5.1-magnitude earthquake hits near Philippines
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 struck near the eastern coast of the Philippines on Sunday, according to a report from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The quake was registered at a depth of 133.8 kilometers at 5:16 pm local time. The epicenter was recorded 46 kilometers east-northeast of Pondaguitan in the Philippines.
There were no initial reports of casualties or material damages, and no tsunami warning was issued by the US Tsunami Warning Center.
