The Fund aims to achieve an appreciation of capital over the medium to long-term. The Fund focuses on investments in listed private equity companies that may be based in any region and may engage in a variety of private equity activities. The Fund will mainly invest in equities and equity related transferable securities which relate to private equity, though to a lesser extent may also invest in fixed income securities issued by such companies. The Fund may invest up to 30% of its net asset value in, or generate exposure to, fixed income securities (including corporate or government bonds, which may be fixed or floating and may be investment grade or below investment grade, as determined by Standard & Poor's Rating Group or any similar recognised rating agency). The Fund may also invest in convertible bonds. The Fund may invest up to 10% of its net asset value in securities of these types that are unlisted.
