Investment strategy
The objective of the Fund is to provide a positive total return over a market cycle with a moderate correlation to traditional emerging market debt indices.
The Fund intends to gain exposure primarily to emerging market debt instruments (including convertibles) and currencies. The Fund will apply a risk management overlay in an effort to reduce risk. The Fund intends to gain exposure to commodities (excluding agricultural commodities) in an effort to reduce risk from exposure to currencies and emerging market debt instruments. The Fund intends to gain exposure to non-investment grade (lower quality) debt instruments, including debt instruments which are in financial distress (distressed securities).
